Benefits: Employee discounts Flexible schedule Free uniforms Opportunity for advancement We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Fleet Operations and Field Assistant to support the daily ground operations of our growing car-sharing fleet in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hands-on, physically active role focused on vehicle readiness, staging logistics, and compliance documentation. Please note: This is strictly a ground operations and vehicle logistics role. Direct guest messaging and customer service communications are handled separately. Key Responsibilities Vehicle Turnaround & Cleaning: Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning between guest reservations (washing, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, cleaning windows, and sanitizing touchpoints). Pre-Trip & Post-Trip Documentation: Capture and upload comprehensive, clear, high-resolution photos (25–30+ photos per vehicle) via smartphone according to strict platform inspection standards before and after every rental trip. Delivery & Staging Logistics: Transport, park, and stage vehicles at designated drop-off locations (such as airport parking lots and local pickup sites), verify lockbox security, and manage key handoffs via secure lockboxes. Vehicle Inspections: Conduct routine visual multi-point inspections for new cosmetic damage, tire tread wear, tire pressure, windshield chips, dashboard warning lights, and fluid levels. Field Problem Solving: Handle basic field maintenance needs as they arise, including key fob battery replacements, jump-starts if needed, and shuttle runs for scheduled dealership or routine service appointments. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Driver’s License: Must hold an active U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations). Reliable Smartphone: Must own a smartphone with a high-quality camera and dependable cellular data to upload required photo sets in the field. Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for cleanliness, existing vehicle blemishes, and subtle mechanical or cosmetic changes. Punctuality & Reliability: Ability to meet strict staging deadlines and schedule windows so vehicles are always ready prior to guest arrivals. Comfort with Different Vehicles: Confidence driving and maneuvering a variety of vehicle types (including sedans, trucks, and luxury vehicles). Compensation & Schedule Job Type: Part-Time / Hourly with opportunities for growth as fleet operations expand. Schedule: Flexible scheduling based on vehicle reservation bookings; requires availability during morning/afternoon turnover windows, with occasional weekend availability.
