Trucking Salesperson

Job Overview As a Trucking Salesperson, you’ll build business-to-business (B2B) relationships and connect customers with trucking solutions that meet their needs. You’ll develop new opportunities, manage customer accounts, and guide sales from initial conversation through deal closing. This role suits a proactive communicator who can combine relationship-building with clear, consultative selling. Duties Identify prospects through warm calling, business development, and targeted marketing; qualify needs and present relevant trucking solutions. Manage customer accounts, maintain client relationships, and provide responsive client communication throughout the sales process. Lead sales negotiations, address concerns, and close deals while working toward sales goals. Track opportunities and customer activity in Salesforce or another customer relationship management (CRM) system. Review sales activity and account needs to identify opportunities, support sales management, and strengthen results. Your impact: By matching customers with suitable trucking solutions and maintaining dependable communication, you help clients make informed decisions and build lasting business relationships. Skills Required: Sales experience, strong communication skills, negotiation, account management, deal closing, and proficiency with CRM systems or sales management systems. Preferred: B2B, enterprise, corporate, technology, software, or technical sales experience; Salesforce proficiency; and experience meeting or exceeding sales goals. Bring analysis skills, leadership, and the ability to manage customer accounts and close sales through thoughtful client relationship management.
