Trucking Operations Manager

RESPONSIBILITES: Manage our local trucking operations shuttle service - that travels back and forth to The Ford Kentucky Truck Plant - dozens of times daily - from our three (3) distribution warehouses – 20.5 hours per day – Monday through Friday – and 10 hours per day - Saturday through Sunday. Schedule eight (8) drivers each shift – two (2) shifts per day – to ensure nonstop seamless service to our customer. Constantly communicate and dispatch the above referenced drivers – two (2) shifts per day – so as to obtain zero (0) absenteeism– and ensure the Ford Assembly Plant does not shut down. Account for the above referenced activities using Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Drive, Voice and Sheets, Finger Check “Time Clock” Phone App System, and Samsara ELD’s REQUIREMENTS: Must have little to “NO LIFE” outside of working this job for us – until such time as we can hire an assistant (or two) for you. : ) Must be able to work “DAY and NIGHT” – 7 days a week – with little to “NO TIME OFF” – until such time as we can hire an assistant (or two) for you. : ) Must “LIVE CLOSE” to The Ford Kentucky Truck Plant - preferred Previous trucking operations and or driving experience - preferred Previous “driver scheduling” skills or the ability to learn quickly - preferred Previous “dispatching skills” or the ability to learn quickly – preferred Experience with Microsoft Excel and or Google Sheets - preferred People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: Hybrid remote in Louisville, KY 40245
