Truck Washer/Supervisor

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Washer/Supervisor to lead our vehicle cleaning operations. In this role, you will oversee the cleaning and sanitation of trucks to ensure they meet industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance. As a supervisor, you will manage a team of cleaning staff, coordinate daily workflows, and uphold high standards of hygiene and safety regulations. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities for trucks, ensuring all vehicles are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and maintained according to company standards. Lead a team of cleaning staff, providing training, guidance, and support to promote efficient teamwork and high-quality work. Implement and monitor sanitation procedures in compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices for industrial and commercial cleaning. Conduct inspections of trucks before and after cleaning to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper sanitation protocols are met. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and timely replenishment. Enforce safety regulations during all cleaning operations to prevent accidents or injuries on site. Communicate effectively with management regarding team performance, workflow issues, or equipment needs to optimize operations. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or commercial janitorial services with a focus on vehicle or truck sanitation. Prior supervisory or team management experience in a cleaning or custodial environment. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and best practices in industrial or commercial cleaning settings. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. Exceptional communication skills suitable for managerial roles involving team supervision and customer service interactions. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting cleaning supplies or equipment, and working outdoors or in warehouse environments. Familiarity with laundry or hospitality housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
