Truck Owner Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Truck Owner Operator to join our team and drive success across diverse freight routes. As an essential part of our logistics network, you will operate your own tractor-trailer to transport freight efficiently and safely, adhering to all federal and state regulations. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality service, ensuring goods reach their destinations on time and in perfect condition. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, or specialized trailers, across over-the-road (OTR) routes with a focus on safety and compliance. Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo including hazardous materials, dangerous goods, or sensitive items. Transport automobile transportation loads securely and efficiently between locations. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other safety standards during all operations. Manage delivery driving tasks with precision, including route driving, load securing, and timely deliveries to various destinations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, cargo details, and delivery documentation as per regulatory requirements. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized freight transportation. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols for dangerous goods handling. Skilled in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and real-time adjustments. Excellent manual handling skills for loading/unloading cargo safely and effectively. Familiarity with trucking equipment such as manual transmissions and tractor-trailers. Ability to manage logistics cargo handling with attention to detail for freight security and integrity. Delivery driver experience with a track record of punctuality and customer service excellence.
