Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers across over-the-road (OTR) routes, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips, maintaining compliance with safety protocols and manual handling procedures Manage documentation for freight shipments, delivery logs, and compliance Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit Requirements Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tractor-trailers such as Dry Van Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) . Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations, and DOT standards for safe trucking operations Skilled in GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution Prior delivery driver experience with freight management and route driving responsibilities Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures including logistics cargo handling for various trailer types Embark on an exciting journey as a Truck Owner Operator where your skills propel your success!
