Join Our Team and Make a Difference! We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Driver / Warehouse Worker to support FeedNB! This role plays a key part in ensuring nutritious food is delivered to schools, food banks, and partner organizations across New Brunswick. Job Title: Truck Driver / Warehouse Worker Location: New Brunswick Department: Warehouse Operations Reports To: Warehouse Operations Manager & Transportation manager Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (40 hours/week) Compensation: Based on experience Key Responsibilities: Load and unload vehicles safely using a pallet jack and other appropriate equipment. Pick up and deliver goods to warehouse locations, retail outlets, food banks, soup kitchens, crisis centres, and other service partners throughout New Brunswick. Prepare distribution slips, Bills of Lading (BOLs), and other required shipping and delivery documents accurately and on time. Confirm quantities, products, and documentation during pickups and deliveries. Assist with receiving, sorting, organizing, picking, packing, and other warehouse duties as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, inventory movements, and warehouse activities. Keep vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in safe working condition. Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures, including the organization’s Policy Manual and safe work practices. Wear required personal protective equipment and safety apparel. Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service to clients, volunteers, employees, community partners, and the public. Work independently with minimal supervision while communicating effectively with the Warehouse Operations Manager and team members. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Operations Manager and/or Executive Director. What We’re Looking For: Physically able to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and operating equipment. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer knowledge for inventory systems and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in supervisory role and people management Previous warehouse, logistics, and food safety certification. Education & Language Requirements: High School Diploma Must be fluent in spoken and written English French speaking is an asset, but not required Must maintain a Class 3 with air brake endorsement drivers license (mandatory). Must work in a courteous, respectful and professional manner when dealing with outside client organizations, volunteers, employees, board members, the public, etc. Must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude and function effectively and efficiently in team-oriented environment. Must be physically capable of performing driver, delivery and warehouse activities in a safe and efficient manner being physically able and capable of lifting up to 40 pounds. Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and effective decision-making ability. Ability to function effectively with little or no supervision. Ability to function effectively as part of a team. 2-5 years of previous experience. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment with varying temperatures (including cold storage).
