JRC TRUCKING, LLC Shawnee, KS 66226 913-276-8970 Current job opening: Truck Driver - Non CDL (Class B or C) to operate a 26 GVW straight box truck $22.00/hour to start 34 - 40 hour work week (daily hours may vary) Paid on hours worked Monday through Friday At home nightly No evenings or weekends Paid training Working hours: 7:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. (hours are approximate) Direct deposit paychecks every week (we pay on Fridays) After 3 months of active satisfactory employment, employees will receive a formal written review and could receive an additional $0.50 raise in hourly pay after 3 months. Additional job responsibilities to be shared during the interview process to include but not limited to: Minimum of 1 year of box truck driving experience required Operate a straight box truck Transporting goods & materials to their destination within a specific timeframe. Abiding by traffic laws and ensuring safe loading and unloading and delivery at our customer's destination. Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliane with stae and federal regulations (Keep Trucking/Motive ELD device in vehicle) Loading and unloading box truck with pallet jacks (unloading at customer's site is recommended or as needed by the customer) Interacting with customers in a professional manner Employee benefits: Paid holidays after 3 months of satisfactory employment Employees will receive 5 days of paid time off (to use at their discretion) after 3 months of satisfactory employment. Basic Employment Requirements: DOT drug test required (arrangements will be made with Concentra by JRC administration) 1 year minimum of box truck driving experience required Must be 21 years old with valid driver's license DMV Record search Medical card required (to be completed by Concentra testing facilities) Strong customer service and problem solving skills This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards. Operate trucks to complete deliveries and pickups on assigned routes Load and unload materials using a pallet jack when needed Ensure all cargo is safely secured and transported properly Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company procedures Maintain clear communication with warehouse managers Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
