Truck Driver Class A

NO LOADING OR UNLOADING!!! HOME EVERY NIGHT! Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting empty semi trailers and box trucks to and from our local customers for repairs. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, flatbeds, dry vans, and refrigerated trailers, in compliance with all safety regulations. Perform route driving to transport empty equipment to various locations efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with the office and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated. Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to operate different types of trucks including but not limited to box trucks, dry vans, refrigeration trailers, and flat beds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
