Job Responsibilities: Starting Pay: $28.84/hr + $1.00/hr Shift Premium | B Shift | Benefits Available Day One Schedule: Tuesday-Friday: 5:15 PM - 5:15 AM Location: Liberty, MO Magna is seeking a Material Handling Team Leader to help coordinate material flow throughout the plant, support Material Handlers, and ensure production areas receive parts and materials needed to maintain efficient operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting logistics operations, inventory accuracy, and material delivery while serving as a key resource for the team. What You'll Do Train and support Material Handlers on equipment operation, work instructions, and material flow processes Coordinate and monitor the movement of materials throughout the facility to support production requirements Maintain flow rack locations and material identification systems Correct inventory and loading discrepancies both physically and within system transactions Support and maintain established material delivery routes while identifying opportunities for improvement Monitor Material Handler performance and provide coaching and support as needed Ensure production lines receive material on time to minimize downtime Perform and lead cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy Conduct daily 5S and safety audits throughout assigned areas Complete reports and collect data to support departmental objectives Communicate operational concerns to leadership and support teams Fill in for employees as needed to support uninterrupted operations Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, organization, and material flow Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Ability to obtain a forklift certification Ability to safely operate tuggers and other material handling equipment Experience using tablets, scanners, printers, and barcode systems Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to make decisions, prioritize work, and provide direction to team members Strong communication and leadership abilities High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail Ability to collect data, analyze information, and identify effective solutions Previous manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or material handling experience preferred Benefits Benefits Available Day One Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) Profit Sharing (eligibility requirements apply) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Referral Program Life Insurance and AD&D Coverage Apply today to join Magna's team in Liberty, Missouri.
