Truck Driver - Class 1

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers opportunities for growth and skill development in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation, making it an essential part of our supply chain operations. Responsibilities Operate commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation in accordance with company policies Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating freight trucks and heavy equipment such as forklifts or other industrial machinery Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus but not required Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for recordkeeping and compliance Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform vehicle inspections Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory This position is vital for maintaining the smooth flow of our supply chain operations, requiring a dedicated professional committed to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery.
