Truck Driver
Won Way Services CorpResponsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of trucks, including roll off trucks, flatbeds, and dump trucks. - Load and unload cargo or materials using appropriate equipment. - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving. - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working order. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage. - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation. Skills: - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL), preffered, with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated or valid Drivers License. (Air Brake Endorsement) - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus. - Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road. - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. - Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with regulations. - Bilingual (English & Spanish) Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
