Truck Driver

Overview Kweens Trucking LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Professional Truck Driver to join our growing transportation operation. We are looking for a professional driver who takes pride in safe driving, reliable service, communication, and maintaining compliance with all applicable FMCSA regulations. Position Responsibilities ● Safely operate company-authorized commercial motor vehicles for local, regional, and/or long-distance transportation. 1-2 weeks OTR ● Transport freight safely and efficiently while meeting scheduled pickup and delivery times. ● Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. ● Properly secure, inspect, and handle freight. ● Maintain accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs), delivery documentation, and other required paperwork. ● Communicate professionally with dispatch, shippers, receivers, and customers. ● Maintain accurate Hours-of-Service (HOS) records and operate the required ELD. ● Follow all FMCSA, DOT, state, and company safety requirements. ● Immediately report accidents, incidents, equipment defects, cargo issues, delays, or other safety concerns. ● Maintain the cleanliness and condition of assigned equipment. ● Follow company procedures regarding fueling, inspections, maintenance, and equipment security. ● Represent Kweens Trucking LLC professionally at all times. Driver Qualifications ● Valid Driver license (CDL) is a plus. ● Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate. ● Acceptable driving record/MVR. ● Must meet FMCSA driver qualification requirements. ● Must successfully complete the required driver qualification and onboarding process. ● Must be able to pass applicable DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements. ● Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements. ● Must be able to legally operate commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce. ● Previous commercial driving experience preferred. ● Strong communication, time-management, and customer-service skills. ● Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded. ● Ability to work independently while following dispatch instructions and company procedures. Compliance Requirements All drivers are required to maintain compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including: ● FMCSA/DOT regulations ● Hours of Service ● ELD requirements ● Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse ● DOT drug and alcohol testing ● Driver Qualification File requirements ● Medical qualification requirements ● Vehicle inspection requirements ● Accident and incident reporting ● Safe loading and cargo securement ● Company safety policies and procedures What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is a professional driver—not just someone who can drive a truck.
