Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of livestock and agricultural products. This role involves commercial truck driving, including loading and unloading cargo, with the use of manual and automatic equipment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on the transportation of vital agricultural commodities. Duties Operate commercial trucks to transport livestock and agricultural products safely across designated routes. Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling of livestock and agricultural goods. Use manual and automatic equipment to facilitate loading, unloading, and securing cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs. Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation laws to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit. Experience Prior experience in commercial truck driving is preferred, especially with transporting livestock or agricultural products. Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures for livestock and farm products is advantageous. Familiarity with manual and automatic equipment used in cargo handling is beneficial. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle class required for this role. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality in daily operations.
