Truck Driver

Overview As a Truck Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably using commercial trucks and tractor-trailers. You’ll plan route driving and over-the-road (OTR) trips with GPS navigation, complete deliveries, and handle cargo with care. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive the freight they need while protecting road users and cargo. Duties Drive commercial vehicles, including manual-transmission trucks, on local and OTR routes. Deliver freight and support automobile transportation using refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers as assigned. Load and unload cargo; perform manual handling and secure loads according to cargo type. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including hazardous materials and dangerous goods requirements when applicable. Inspect vehicles and cargo, plan routes with GPS, and report delays, safety concerns, or equipment issues. Requirements Commercial truck driving and delivery driving experience; delivery driver experience is preferred. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer and manual transmission safely; experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers is an asset. Knowledge of freight logistics, cargo handling, truck loading and unloading, and safe manual handling practices. Familiarity with DOT and FMCSA regulations; hazmat or dangerous goods experience is preferred. Valid commercial driving credentials required for the vehicle and routes assigned, with a safe driving record. Pay: $1,450.00 - $2,400.00 per week Work Location: In person
