Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. If interested contact us for details. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including flatbeds and conestogas hauling various goods. Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during transportation activities. Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs for load & unload times, mileage, and delivery receipts. Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for safe operation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery updates or any issues encountered during routes. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving across diverse terrains. Strong knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, manual transmission operation, and tractor-trailer handling. Proficiency in GPS navigation systems and route planning tools for efficient OTR driving routes. Ability to adhere strictly to FMCSA, DOT, and safety protocols during all phases of transportation. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with automobile transportation is a plus. Physical capability for manual handling tasks involved in truck loading/unloading and cargo securing activities.
