Mixed fleet of company trucks, owner-operators and hot shot units, so no two days are the same In-house service center down the road, so breakdowns and PMs get handled fast Tools: Motive ELD/dispatch, Prophesy Dispatch and Microsoft 365 Steady schedule: [e.g., Monday–Friday days, with rotating after-hours on-call] Competitive pay based on skill and experience Strong team culture: summer BBQs, Christmas parties and a supportive work environment What You’ll Do Plan and assign loads to company drivers and owner-operators to keep trucks moving and cut down on deadhead Track every load from pickup to delivery and keep customers updated on ETAs and delays Be the drivers’ main point of contact for breakdowns, detention, route problems and appointment changes Watch hours of service in Motive and plan loads that keep drivers legal Coordinate with the shop so PMs (perventative mantience) and repairs get scheduled around loads Keep load information accurate in Prophesy so billing gets clean paperwork Take ownership of your board from start to finish What We’re Looking For [1–2+] years of truck dispatch, brokerage or transportation logistics experience Working knowledge of hours of service, ELDs and the basics of DOT compliance Ability to handle high-priority problems in a fast-paced environment Clear, direct communicator with drivers and professional with customers Comfortable in Outlook and Microsoft Office Experience with Motive, Prophesy or a CDL is a plus (we’ll train you on our systems!)
