Transportation Dispatcher

NORTHWEST TN HUMAN RESOURCE AGENCY TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM The Transportation Department has a full-time job opening for a Dispatcher position. The primary function of this position is processing all incoming calls from drivers: assisting them with re-routing trips; booking same day trips for facilities and any other services pertaining to the drivers of all nine counties. Must be willing to submit a pre-employment drug test and background check. This is a “safety sensitive” position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FTA guidelines and NWTHRA policies. Position is on-site in Martin, TN. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma Must possess good human relation skills with the ability to communicate effectively Must be able to perform in a high stress environment.
