Transportation Coordinator

Full-Time | Salary About the Role Civitan Foundation is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to help ensure safe, reliable transportation for the members we serve. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, this role leads daily transportation operations, supports our team of drivers, and helps maintain the highest standards of safety and service. What You’ll Do Supervise, train, and coach Transportation Drivers on daily routes and operations Plan and evaluate routes for efficiency while ensuring member safety and individual service plan needs are met Maintain accurate transportation records, vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, and required documentation Support quality management, budget monitoring, and timely payroll/billing processes Communicate and interact positively with members, promoting choice, dignity, and support Review incident reports, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with licensing and service requirements Act as a professional role model and assist with recruiting, hiring, and evaluating drivers as needed What You Bring Must be at least 21 years of age and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to pass a criminal background check, fingerprint clearance, and pre-employment drug screening Current or ability to obtain: Article 9 certification, CPR/First Aid, and Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card Valid Arizona driver’s license (CDL preferred if applicable) with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience coordinating transportation routes or supervising drivers Familiarity with ADOT, DDD, or regulations governing transportation services for individuals with developmental disabilities Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with members, families, and staff Why Civitan You’ll join a mission-driven non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
