ForZack Trucking & Logistics is a small, family-owned business with a goal of growing into something bigger and we’re looking to build a team that can help us achieve those goals. We’re looking for a Transportation Coordinator who wants to learn the business, take ownership of their work, and contribute ideas that make our daily operations run better. Your work will help customers receive accurate invoices, drivers get the support they need, and our team stay organized as we grow. This is an opportunity to help shape how a growing company operates and develop your skills along the way. Responsibilities Maintain accurate order records, verifying customer details, shipment information, and required billing fields. Collect bills of lading and proof-of-delivery documents, confirming legibility, completeness, and correct order assignment. Prepare and issue customer invoices using verified rates, required documentation, and approved additional charges. Track detention and other accessorial charges through evidence collection, required customer approval, and invoicing. Schedule delivery appointments within dispatch-approved requirements, escalating conflicts before confirming changes. Prepare outbound load paperwork and communicate document revisions before the agreed departure deadlines. Compile employee time and driver trip records into complete payroll input files for accounting review. Collect and organize driver expense receipts, identifying missing documentation for accounting’s reimbursement review. Coordinate new-hire onboarding, tracking required paperwork and testing appointments through completion and designated reviewer signoff. Maintain driver qualification records and compliance calendars, escalating missing or expiring requirements to the designated reviewer. Prepare monthly insurance reports and renewal information using current employee, driver, equipment, and company records. Recommend and implement approved improvements, documenting procedures that reduce manual work, errors, and repeated follow-up. Qualifications and Skills Strong organization, attention to detail, and dependable follow-through. Clear, professional communication with drivers, customers, and coworkers. Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and business software, with a willingness to learn new systems. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines, investigate missing information, and ask questions when needed. Initiative to improve processes and take responsibility for completing work accurately. Experience in transportation, billing, office administration, or customer service is helpful. We also welcome candidates with transferable skills and a strong willingness to learn. Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have any experience in the trucking industry?
