Role and Responsibilities of Transportation Analyst:
You will evaluate pricing opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer requirements, profitability factors, and potential risks. This role supports airfreight pricing activities by collaborating with internal teams and customers to create effective solutions while following pricing procedures.
• Execute spot and ad hoc pricing requests for airfreight products and services.
• Analyze market conditions and competitor information to support pricing strategies.
• Recommend pricing solutions designed to improve profitability.
• Review risks related to pricing development and spot quote activities.
• Escalate pricing concerns and decision requirements through proper management channels.
• Follow established pricing policies, procedures, and management instructions.
• Coordinate with customers alongside Sales teams to support pricing activities.
• Complete market research, competitor analysis, profitability reviews, and revenue simulations to support recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience of Transportation Analyst:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to focus on details.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Ability to complete responsibilities independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with multiple operational systems and pricing tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in airfreight, logistics, transportation, pricing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience with freight pricing, profitability analysis, or market evaluation processes.
Compensation and Benefits of Transportation Analyst:
The pay range for this position is $68,722.50 - $91,630.00+ depending on experience.
