Transport/Dispatcher Assistant Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p. Job Summary Join our dynamic transportation team as a Transport/Dispatcher Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will drive efficient road transportation operations. In this vital role, you will support dispatching activities, and ensure seamless communication across throughout the department and with the carriers. Your proactive approach will help optimize logistics processes, maintain compliance with DOT regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Duties Assist with communicating with cusomers via phone and email. Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams via phone calls, emails, and internal communication platforms to ensure timely freight moveme Ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to freight status, and delivery schedules, with professionalism and clear communication. Assist in billing Qualifications Strong knowledge of transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data entry, reporting, and communication tasks. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills for phone call management, internal coordination, and customer interactions; strong phone etiquette required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team setting.
