Uptime Mobile Services provides on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for commercial fleets. We’re looking for dependable trailer mechanics who take pride in their work, troubleshoot effectively, and work independently while communicating with our office and customers. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial trailer brakes, ABS systems, air systems, suspension, wheel ends, and electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance and trailer inspections, identifying safety concerns and needed repairs. Service and replace brake shoes, drums, chambers, slack adjusters, air lines, and related components. Diagnose and repair trailer lighting, wiring, connectors, and charging systems. Inspect and repair wheel bearings, hubs, seals, and related components. Repair trailer doors, floors, roofs, landing gear, and other body components. Diagnose, maintain, and repair liftgates, including hydraulic and electrical systems. Use diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and service information to identify problems and verify repairs. Accurately document findings, repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job. Communicate repair needs and recommendations to customers and our office. Keep your service truck, tools, parts, and supplies clean, organized, and ready for work. Maintain a clean customer work area and follow safety and environmental requirements. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial trailer repair experience. Strong knowledge of trailer air brakes, ABS, suspension, wheel ends, and electrical systems. Ability to diagnose air leaks, brake concerns, electrical faults, and mechanical failures. Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and diagnostic information. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Liftgate repair, welding, and fabrication experience preferred. Mobile or field service experience preferred. Ability to work independently, manage your time, and coordinate with the team. Dependability, attention to detail, and professional communication. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training or certifications preferred. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
