Job Title: Trailer Mechanic / Technician Company: All American Trailer Connection Location: Ft. Pierce, FL Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly | $20–$24/hr Base + Bonus ABOUT THE ROLE Are you a hands-on mechanic who knows your way around a trailer? All American Trailer Connection in Ft. Pierce, FL is hiring a Trailer Mechanic / Technician to join our service team. We work on enclosed cargo trailers, flatbeds, equipment trailers, and dump trailers — so if you can weld it, wire it, and fix it, we want to hear from you. You’ll work alongside a solid team tackling a wide range of repairs and builds. Every day brings something different, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to get after it. WHAT YOU’LL DO MIG weld structural repairs and fabricate components on steel and aluminum trailers Diagnose and repair 12-volt electrical systems — lighting, wiring, breakaway switches, charge lines Replace and service suspension components, axles, wheel bearings, and hubs Work on electric brake systems — diagnosis through replacement Troubleshoot hydraulic systems on dump and equipment trailers (pumps, cylinders, valves, hoses) Handle carpentry repairs — decking, wall panels, roof repairs, interior buildouts Install accessories: toolboxes, tie-downs, ramps, winches, LED upgrades, and more Run pre-delivery inspections and final quality checks WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 1–3+ years in trailer repair, heavy equipment, or a related mechanical trade Solid MIG welding skills (aluminum is a plus) 12-volt electrical knowledge and comfort reading wiring diagrams Hands-on experience with suspension, wheel bearings, and electric brakes Hydraulic system troubleshooting and repair ability Carpentry skills for decking and structural repairs Valid driver’s license and your own set of hand tools Good attitude and willingness to learn — we’ll help you grow WHY ALL AMERICAN TRAILER CONNECTION? $20–$24/hour base pay plus efficiency bonus Up to three weeks of PTO 401(k) retirement account with employer matching Health insurance with employer contribution Steady, full-time work in a growing shop with a solid reputation Variety — no two days are the same when you’re working across cargo, flatbed, and dump trailers A team that respects the trade and values skilled mechanics Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
