Traffic Coordinator

Blockhouse is looking for a Traffic Coordinator to join our team. This individual will work directly with our VP of Operations. Traffic is responsible for shipping our product directly to customers in a safe, cost effective, and timely manner. In this position, you will be serving both office and factory personnel. This is a full-time, hourly position Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 with a half hour for lunch from 12:00-12:30. The starting wage is $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Some of the duties include: Obtaining quotes FTL, LTL, small package (Fedex, UPS, USPS, etc) Prepare shipping documentation such as BOL's, shipping labels, etc. Work with trucking companies on setting up trucks and supplying delivery information Work with our Shipping/Receiving department and Install department with small tasks Communication with our customers to set up deliveries Data entry (Using Word docs, Spreadsheets, Google, etc.) The ideal candidate would be able to work in a team environment, and possess a good phone personality, be a very good communicator, and be a flexible and innovative employee who looks for ways to work efficiently. We are also looking for someone who has a good eye for continuous improvement, has an aptitude for details, works well under pressure, and has a good memory! Logistics experience is required.
