Coastal Elite ProRole Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic management. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your responsibilities include setting up and taking down cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and monitoring site activity. Adherence to safety protocols, clear communication with team members, maintaining equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions are essential. Flexibility for variable shifts, including nights, weekends, or emergency work, is required. Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift 40-50 pounds is needed. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to work outdoors, stand, walk, and lift heavy loads Willingness to work in traffic and adverse weather Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Respectful attitude towards coworkers, clients, and the public Pass pre-hire screening including drug testing Key Duties & Benefits Setting up traffic control equipment and guiding traffic Following safety training and protocols Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Providing training and opportunities for career advancement into roles such as Lead Protector, Field Supervisor, or Manager Compensation ranges from $17.65 to $19.50 per hour with overtime and pay increases available.
