Role Description This full-time, on-site Truck Driver role is based in Kitchener, ON. The Truck Driver will operate commercial trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently to customer locations across designated routes. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following all DOT and company safety regulations, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The role also involves securing loads, assisting with unloading when required, communicating with dispatch and customers, and promptly reporting any incidents, delays, or maintenance needs. The Truck Driver is expected to represent the company professionally and support a culture of safety and reliability. Qualifications Candidates should possess CDL Class A and strong Truck Driving experience. Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and safe Truck operation practices. Candidates should possess skills in Unloading and handling freight safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of road safety, defensive driving, and adherence to transportation laws. Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol screenings. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Reliable time management, attention to detail, and professional communication with dispatch and customers. Physical ability to sit for extended periods and handle occasional lifting or moving of freight. Previous experience in regional or long-haul trucking is an asset.
