Traffic Control Flagger

Role Overview The Protector is responsible for ensuring safety at job sites by setting up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades, and guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles. Key duties include following safety protocols, maintaining equipment and vehicles, and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors. Outside work in varying weather conditions is required, with potential shifts during nights, weekends, or emergency situations. The role involves standing or walking for extended periods and lifting 40–50 pounds. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long durations Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including a drug test Attention to safety and respectful interaction with others Compensation & Benefits Starting pay ranges from $17.25 to $18.00 per hour with overtime opportunities and pay raises within the first year.
