Job Title: Tradeshow Technician & Warehouse Manager Overview: We are seeking a skilled Tradeshow Technician/Warehouse Manager to join our team and oversee the technical & build aspects of our tradeshow exhibits and events all around the country, mainly in Florida, Georgia and Nevada. The Tradeshow Technician aspects will be responsible for ensuring that all installation/dismantle , audio-visual, lighting, electrical, and technical components of our tradeshow displays function seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tradeshow I&D, audio-visual technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Manager aspects will include overseeing our Hickory, NC Warehouse, organization, keeping supplies in stock, keeping inventory of what we have and handling freight shipments going out and coming in. This position requires travel between our Hickory,NC Warehouse, our Coral Springs, FL Warehouse and travel to where our setup & dismantle jobs are located around the country. MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIECE IN TRADE SHOW/EVENT INDUSTRY Responsibilities: Setup and dismantle tradeshow exhibits, including assembling booth structures, installing audio-visual equipment, and arranging lighting fixtures. Test and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, sound systems, and interactive displays, to ensure functionality and optimal performance. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to arrange delivery and setup of specialized equipment or services as needed. Manage electrical requirements for tradeshow exhibits, including power distribution, wiring, and safety compliance. Provide on-site technical support during tradeshows, including troubleshooting equipment issues, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring uninterrupted operation of displays. Train and supervise temporary staff or contractors assisting with tradeshow setup and operation. Maintain an inventory of audio-visual equipment, tools, and supplies, and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in audio-visual technology to suggest innovative solutions for tradeshow exhibits. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while working with electrical equipment, and in tradeshow environments. Knowledge of how to work a pallet jack ( regular electric). Knowledge of how to work a gene lift and fork lift. Can efficiently keep things organized and tidy. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience working in tradeshow or event production. Strong technical skills, including proficiency with audio-visual equipment, lighting systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues under pressure. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required for tradeshow setup and operation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and colleagues. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and stand for extended periods during tradeshow setup and operation. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical work and tradeshow environments.
