Trade Compliance Analyst

Job Title: Trade Compliance Specialist Location: Orlando FL 32822, fully Onsite (5 days per week) Duration: 6 months Contract (Possible extension) Work Schedule: Orlando FL 32822, fully Onsite , (5 days per week) (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week) Shift Timings:: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST About the Role: This role focuses on U.S. import/export trade compliance, customs, and international logistics. The candidate will be responsible for HTS classification, country of origin, customs valuation, import/export documentation, shipment tracking, and CBP compliance. Roles & responsibilities: Maintain accurate HTS code classification and country of origin determination for all imported/exported products. Assist in applying proper U.S. Customs Valuation methods. Review and maintain import /export documentation (commercial invoice, packing lists, certificates or origin) Track international shipments for customs delay and regulatory holds Support the implementation of Customs programs such as Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, etc. Assist in the coordination with customs brokers, freight forwarders, for providing pre-clearance instructions and shipping instructions Support ERP integration of trade compliance data (e.g., SAP material master). Assist with internal audits and documentation which include pre and post CBP entry reviews. Provide reporting on trade compliance metrics and duty exposure. Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, related field. Or equivalent experience (5+ years) 3+ years in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics. Basic knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Foreign Trade Regulations Basic knowledge of HTS classification, valuation methods, country of origin determination, and Customs programs such as Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, Foreign Trade Zones, etc. Basic understanding of US Trade Regulations Experience using ERP systems such as SAP. Experience with Trade Automation / SW solutions. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with duty drawbacks, FTZs, or CTPAT. Ability to motivate and initiate change.
