Job Summary We are seeking energetic and responsible Owner Operators with their own tractor-trailers to deliver freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Duties Operate tractor-trailers to transport freight securely and on schedule across various locations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, bills of lading, and delivery logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness. Adhere strictly to all transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for tractor-trailer operation. Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading/unloading freight. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards. Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation accuracy.
