Tractor Trailer Mechanic

Menke Trucking is a small family owned and operated trucking company located in Leavenworth, IN. We have a growing fleet that is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team. Individual should be detailed, thorough and take pride in their work. This position will require detailed knowledge of FMCSA requirements, preventative services, disc and air brake applications, diagnostic processes and trailer repair and maintenance. We are looking for a motivated, high integrity individual who is looking to join a growing private fleet. Compensation is based on experience but will include hourly wage, vacation pay, holiday pay, heath, vision and dental insurance, 401k and more. Job Requirements: Diesel mechanic experience DOT air brake certification and annual federal vehicle inspection certification Strong Knowledge of DOT and Safety Regulations Willingness to work outdoors in extreme conditions on occasion Basic computer skills along with written and oral communication skills Extremely organized and effective at time management High school graduate with additional training such as technical school classes.
