Authorized towingWHEEL-LIFT TOW TRUCK DRIVER — OVERNIGHT Authorized Towing 8011 Beechcraft Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20879 Authorized Towing is hiring a reliable and motivated Wheel-Lift Tow Truck Driver to join our team for overnight shifts . We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and service Montgomery County, Maryland only . POSITION OVERVIEW As a Wheel-Lift Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for patrolling private properties throughout Montgomery County and towing vehicles that are in violation of the property's parking rules and authorized for removal. This position requires someone who is dependable, professional, alert, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours. You may interact with vehicle owners who are upset or frustrated about their vehicle being towed, so the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure is extremely important. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Patrol assigned private properties throughout Montgomery County. Identify vehicles that are in violation of authorized property parking regulations. Safely and properly tow vehicles using a wheel-lift tow truck. Follow all Montgomery County towing procedures, regulations, and applicable laws . Follow all property-specific towing rules and instructions. Properly document tows and follow all company procedures. Maintain professional communication with customers, property representatives, and dispatch. Handle customer interactions calmly and professionally, including situations involving upset or angry vehicle owners. Perform required vehicle inspections, photographs, and documentation. Safely operate and properly care for the assigned tow truck. Keep the tow truck clean, organized, and in good working condition . Perform or assist with routine cleanliness and maintenance responsibilities as required. Immediately report any mechanical issues, damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs involving the tow truck. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding the tow yard, tow trucks, equipment, cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and daily operations . Communicate with dispatch regarding tows, locations, vehicle information, and any issues encountered. Work independently while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and professionalism throughout the shift. Complete any other reasonable duties related to the safe and proper operation of the tow truck and company operations. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card. Previous towing experience is a plus, but not required . Wheel-lift towing experience is preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable. Must be a fast learner and eager to learn. Pay: $800.00 - $1,500.00 per week Work Location: In person
