V2X is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant- 2nd shift to support manufacturing and maintenance operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking tools, equipment, parts, supplies, and materials. This position maintains accurate inventory and tool records, ensures tools and equipment are available when needed, and coordinates with technicians, supervisors, supply chain personnel, vendors, and the calibration group to minimize operational delays. The successful candidate must have prior experience working in a machining, aerospace maintenance, or manufacturing environment and be familiar with common tools and tooling. Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Receive, store, issue, and track tools, equipment, parts, supplies, and materials in a tool crib and at supported work locations. Process tool and material checkouts, returns, and transfers while maintaining accurate accountability and traceability. Maintain accurate inventory, status, and location records using applicable electronic systems. Monitor stock levels and submit replenishment requests as needed. Perform periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in accordance with established procedures. Receive, unpack, inspect, and properly store incoming tools, supplies, and equipment. Visually inspect incoming and outgoing tools and equipment for defects or damage and report identified issues. Identify tools or materials requiring repair, replacement, inspection, calibration, or other services and remove unserviceable items from circulation as appropriate. Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies. Organize and store industrial stock for efficient handling and protection from damage or deterioration. Coordinate the delivery and return of tools and equipment requiring calibration and maintain accurate status and location information. Maintain inventory records, prepare shipping documentation, and coordinate the transfer and return of items requiring vendor services, as needed. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe tool crib and storage area. Follow applicable safety, tool-control, quality, security, and property-management procedures. Work independently and collaboratively as part of functional or cross-functional teams. Perform other duties and activities as assigned. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or GED. 1+ years experience working in a machining, aerospace maintenance, or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with tools, tooling, and common shop equipment. Ability to use electronic systems to maintain inventory or asset records. Ability to perform the responsibilities and essential functions of the position, including standing for extended periods and bending, reaching, lifting, and moving materials within applicable V2X safety guidelines, with reasonable accommodation. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Preferred: Experience working in a tool crib, parts room, warehouse, or similar inventory-control environment. Familiarity with engineering parts and calibrated tools or test equipment.
