Summary:
Incumbent provides daily operational assistance to include the supervision of toll collectors, toll agents and toll supervision while managing the revenue collection process.
Relationships:
• Works directly with Toll Operations Area Manager.
• Works directly with other Toll Operations staff and Supervisors from other departments within ITRCC.
Responsibilities:
• Performs all tasks safely, complies with all internal and external safety requirements, supports ITRCC safety culture, attends all safety trainings and completes all compliance trainings as required by ITRCC.
• Uphold ITRCC’s core values: Community, Actions, Reliability, Excellence and Safety (CARES).
• Provides Traffic management/operations management/customer service.
• Employee supervision.
• Performs Administrative duties (scheduling/payroll/queue/disciplinary/interviews/performance reviews).
• Conducts = training and development and ensures learning management system compliance.
• Provide coverage of operations when the Toll Operations Area Manager is absent.
• Utilize company vehicles and assist in maintenance schedule and regular inspections of vehicle conditions.
• Aids aid in emergency situations.
• Assist in various projects at designated plazas.
• Monitors operation and condition of ITRCC property.
• Monitors priority services channel, traffic, and revenue management during non-peak traffic times, major holidays, special events, and unexpected events.
• Provides good radio usage and communications.
• Travel frequently across the road.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: (required)
• High school diploma/ GED
• Must have proven organization skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Previous scheduling experience
• Must possess effective communication skills both written and orally
• Must possess the knowledge and skill necessary to effectively perform on the job training for new hires
• Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Desirable Experience:
• Associate degree in business or related field
• 3-5 years past supervision experience
