The Terminal Operator is responsible for railcar and truck loading and unloading operations along with testing and sampling for products and tanks. Safety must be a major focus for this position. Attending trainings and maintaining safety certifications to meet state and federal requirements will be required. Essential Job Duties: Truck loading and unloading operations. Railcar offloading operations. Product sampling and testing. Tank gauging and sampling. Maintain existing certifications and attend new training to meet company, state and federal requirements. Attend monthly safety meetings and drills as required. Ability to prioritize work schedule and ability to function with minimum supervision. Accept supervision requirements when working on weekends and holidays. Accountability for individual job responsibilities as assigned. Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills. Have good problem solving skills. Ability to understand documented processes, procedures and company policies. Must be conscientious about quality, timeliness and accuracy of work. Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors. Strong commitment to safety. Seasonal and Full-time opportunities Education and Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of work related experience as a terminal operator preferred. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Ability to perform lifting of 75 pounds and bending. Experience and knowledge of liquid bulk terminal operations. Mechanical abilities needed. Must be dependable with excellent attendance record, and be willing to work different shift schedules, including weekends and holidays. Must work well in team environment. Strong customer focus. Strong hand/eye coordination necessary to operate equipment. Able to work in all weather conditions. PERKS WITH US!
