Temporary Junior Buyer

Job Overview The Temporary Junior Buyer supports purchasing and inventory activities by processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and working with Production Planning. The role uses spreadsheets and ERP systems to help maintain accurate purchasing records and monitor incoming materials, supplies, and services. Responsibilities Create, process, and maintain purchase orders for raw materials, production supplies, and services. Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively follow up on outstanding orders. Contact suppliers to request quotations, confirm lead times, and resolve delivery issues. Collaborate with Production Planning on purchasing needs and delivery coordination. Maintain purchasing and inventory information using spreadsheets and ERP systems. Skills Familiarity with spreadsheets, vendor communication, ERP systems, and inventory management. Strong organization and attention to detail when handling purchase orders and tracking deliveries. Clear, professional communication with suppliers and internal partners. An associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field is preferred. Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
