As a key member of our transportation team, you'll operate heavy equipment, utilize your automotive repair knowledge when needed, and contribute to smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, across designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to coordinate freight loading, unloading, and securement processes using forklifts and other heavy equipment Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing basic automotive repairs or reporting issues promptly to maintenance teams Manage freight documentation accurately, ensuring proper tracking and delivery of goods Assist in the operation of forklifts and heavy machinery to load or unload freight efficiently Maintain safety standards by conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identifying potential hazards or maintenance needs Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients to ensure smooth delivery schedules Experience Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with team-based transportation roles Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Hands-on experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment in a logistics or warehouse environment Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Basic automotive repair skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues when necessary Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and commercial driving Join us as a Team Driver if you're passionate about moving freight safely, enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and possess the skills to operate heavy machinery confidently.
