Takeout Bagger / Order Checker
DavenportOverview As a Takeout Bagger / Order Checker, you’ll help keep food orders accurate, securely packaged, and ready for pickup or delivery. You’ll check items against order details, operate packaging equipment, and follow food safety and production procedures in a fast-moving environment. Your impact: Careful order checks help customers receive complete orders and support smooth service for the team. Responsibilities Verify food items and quantities against order tickets before packing. Package and label orders to protect food quality and prevent mix-ups. Operate packaging machines and other equipment; report issues and assist with basic troubleshooting. Move supplies and finished orders using a pallet jack or other material handling equipment, following safety protocols. Keep the work area clean and organized, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow good manufacturing practices (GMP), including current good manufacturing practices (CGMP). Qualifications Basic math skills and attention to detail for checking order contents and quantities. Ability to follow food production, manufacturing, packaging, and safety standards. Mechanical knowledge, machine operation experience, or equipment troubleshooting skills are helpful. Forklift, pallet jack, material handling equipment, hand tools, or warehouse experience is preferred. Machining experience is a plus; willingness to follow safety protocols and use PPE is essential. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 – 32.0 per week Work Location: In person
