Responsibilities Assist crane and excavator operators with rigging, load securing, and equipment positioning to ensure safe lifting operations Operate or support the operation of heavy machinery such as forklifts and excavators under supervision Help coordinate the movement of materials and equipment around the worksite efficiently and safely Conduct routine inspections of tools, rigging gear, and machinery to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards Support the setup and breakdown of construction or drilling sites by handling supplies and securing work areas Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, rigging procedures, and site regulations Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth workflow and address any immediate operational needs Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in learning more about heavy equipment and rigging techniques Experience or familiarity with commercial driving or operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, excavators, or cranes is a plus Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in outdoor environments Construction experience or background in oil & gas industries is highly desirable Knowledge of rigging procedures, horizontal drilling processes, or heavy equipment operation is advantageous Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required initially Strong safety awareness and willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols Embark on a career journey that builds your expertise while contributing to impactful projects.
