Job Details: Develops and executes the supply chain strategy and relationships to achieve overall goals of the division. Leads materials, purchasing, planning, shipping and other logistics and supply chain elements in support of the business strategy. Professionally represents Robroy's best interests to internal and external constituents. Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with MRPII Knowledge of Composite Materials and Metals CSCP Certification Required Education / Experience / Skills BBA Degree in Business or Finance or Related Field and/or Equivalent Experience 6+ years’ Experience in Supply Chain Management Proficient Verbal and Written English Communication Skills Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, align, lead, and execute the Supply Chain strategy for the division Asses and, if necessary, modify the division’s supplier footprint to align material or product requirements, reduce risk, and minimize costs. Manage all supply agreements; ensure contracts are complete, properly executed, and have considered all business risk and cost variables, including inbound freight optimization. Manage supplier base to ensure on-going compliance with Robroy’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Policy and other applicable corporate policies and other applicable corporate policies and legal requirements. Enhance supplier development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback. Responsible for incoming material conformance and external reporting related to Robroy engineering specifications & industry conformances Ensure resolution with suppliers relative to quality and service issues are negotiated. Provide feedback to senior level representatives of suppliers on quality and delivery performance to assure continuous improvement in those areas. Understand the materials used to create our raw materials, monitor the supply/demand/market conditions impacting the cost of those materials (nationally & internationally), and take necessary actions to minimize the impact/maximize the opportunity for the business. Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepare market analysis reports. Develop an inventory strategy that maximizes inventory turns by utilizing the latest sales forecast and historical trends. Manage the translation of the inventory strategy to clear, measurable actions and targets that maintain optimum inventory levels, ensuring on time deliveries while minimizing carrying costs and transportation charges. Work with product development and operations on new product development and product enhancement programs to ensure effective sourcing of materials to meet finished specs, material requirements, and pricing from suppliers. Actively seek creative supply solutions to optimize the cost/value and innovation equation. Oversee and ensure proper production control planning and scheduling to meet sales forecasts and to balance manpower and machine requirements.
