Supply Chain Coordinator

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Develops and maintains vendor relations and partnerships<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Responsible for the entire procurement process from RFQ coordination and PO issuance until material is received and invoiced correctly<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Handling of material requests<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Generates daily status reports and performs all required actions to ensure timely delivery<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinates with the company’s Supply Chain Organization to ensure on time and complete delivery<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinates with the logistics branch of the company to ensure transparency of entire supply chain<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Manages inventory levels, lead times, and costs for locally stocked material<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensures compliance of procurement activities with government regulations, company guidelines and policies as well as contractual agreements.<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assists in continuous improvement initiatives relating but not limited to process implementations, daily work instruction and procedure development<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinates activities with production scheduling and planning<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supply Chain Manager<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Performs additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Supply Chain<\/span><\/span>

  • College degree and\/or work related equivalent<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Three to five years’ minimum experience in MRP\-based manufacturing environment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Preferably working experience in a Purchasing capacity<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to interpret drawings and BOM requirements<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong team player.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Commitment to company values and ethics<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Weekend on\-call<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to travel for training and exchanges<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
