Clarification from the agency All U.S. Citizens and Special Hiring authorities to include Military Spouses, and Veterans Duties This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Acq Demo Business and Technical Management to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. As a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist at the NH-0346-4 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Serve as the Component Property Lead (CPL) and Chief of the Enterprise Accountability Property Officefor the Missile Defense Agency. As CPL, executes the responsibilities as outlined in DoDI5000.64, and serveas the primary point of contact for the DoD Component regarding property accountability. Direct, develop and perform property management operations that include planning, coordinating and evaluating associated logistics actions required to support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) goals and mission. Interface with internal and external (OSW) auditors, MDA program office personnel, Defense Logistics Agency, and various OSW offices on all things related to property accountability management. Enable Agency Accountable Property Officer's (APO) and help ensure they are trained and strategically placed and appointed as needed within the organization. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capability of employees; provide technical oversight and instruction on administrative matters; develop performance plans and rate employees; recommend hiring, promotion, or reassignment; take disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands; identify developmental and training needs of employees; and, provide and/or arrange for needed development and training.
