Duties Lead daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of sales, inventory control, and customer service activities Supervise and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a high-performing team Oversee inventory management including stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and pricing strategies Handle payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, returns, and customer inquiries Implement marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and brand visibility Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers to foster a positive shopping environment Ensure compliance with company policies on safety, security, and store procedures including shift management Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant manager roles within retail environments Strong leadership skills with demonstrated supervising experience and team management capabilities Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Proficiency in retail math, budgeting, merchandising, inventory control, and POS systems Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and perform retail bookkeeping tasks Skilled in customer service excellence with phone etiquette and organizational skills Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, employee orientation, and performance evaluation Knowledge of wireless sales or fashion accessories is advantageous but not required Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a fast-paced setting Join us as an Assistant Manager at Sunglass Hut in <LOCATION>!
