CTD constructionJob Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable, licensed and insured Subcontractor to grow with our team, specializing in various aspects of construction, from remodeling, restoration projects and deck builds to brand new home builds and additions. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in residential carpentry, measuring and reading of tape measures, critical and creative thinking skills, ambition, trustworthiness, be drug free, dependable, and be a team player. This role offers opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to safety and code standards. As a subcontractor, you will operate independently while also being part of the team; collaborating to ensure timeliness and quality completion of tasks and deadlines. Duties Interpret and execute construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Perform residential carpentry tasks including framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, windows, siding, sofit and facia Operate hand tools and power tools safely while woodworking, fixture installation, and other construction activities Conduct drywall installation, plastering, caulking, and painting to meet project specifications Install roofing materials and perform rebar installation for concrete forming projects Engage in masonry work such as bricklaying or stonework as required Execute water damage restoration tasks including mold remediation and structural drying Fabricate custom components using woodworking machines or CNC equipment when necessary Assist with remodeling efforts involving flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture setup Ensure all work complies with safety protocols related to power tool safety and heavy lifting procedures Interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure precise execution of construction tasks Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site Skills Experience in reading blueprints or technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and woodworking equipment Strong background in residential carpentry including trim carpentry and door hanging Knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols for power tools and heavy lifting Ability to interpret schematics for electrical systems, plumbing layouts, or structural frameworks Familiarity with wood construction materials such as lumber, plywood, drywall sheets, siding materials Experience with various trades including roofing, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying Skills in restoration industry practices such as mold remediation and water damage repair Competence in fabrication processes using woodworking machines or CNC equipment Ability to read construction plans accurately for diverse projects Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety compliance This position is ideal for professionals seeking flexible subcontracting opportunities across multiple facets of construction.
