Your Tasks You are responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of electronic components through manufacturers, authorized distributors, and qualified sourcing partners You identify sourcing opportunities and develop procurement strategies that support company growth and profitability You monitor the global semiconductor and electronic components market, including pricing trends, shortages, allocation situations, and product availability You evaluate suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing, purchasing terms, contracts, and commercial agreements You build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and industry partners You identify and evaluate customer excess inventory and develop strategies to maximize its market value and resale potential You manage purchase orders and procurement activities within our ERP system and monitor supplier confirmations and delivery schedules You work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Logistics to ensure efficient procurement and transaction execution You support the continuous improvement of procurement processes, supplier management, and ERP workflows Your Profile Office mentality: You enjoy working on site with the team in Doral, Florida You have several years of experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within the electronics or semiconductor industry You have completed commercial or technical training or hold a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field You have strong knowledge of electronic components, semiconductors, and global sourcing markets You have proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiations You have strong analytical skills and the ability to identify profitable sourcing opportunities You are confident working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office You work independently, proactively, and with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and enjoy working in an international environment An established network within the semiconductor or electronics industry and experience with excess inventory or hard-to-find components are a plus What we offer you A rapidly growing international company with exciting development opportunities An international and motivated team A modern on-site working environment Competitive salary, depending on experience and qualifications Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Aflac Short-Term Disability coverage Paid Time Off and paid company holidays The opportunity to actively shape our strategic purchasing function and contribute to the continued growth of SI Electronics Americas Any questions?
