Straight Truck Overnight Delivery Driver
Smart Courier INCWe are seeking a reliable and experienced 28ft. Straight Truck Overnight Delivery Driver to join our team. The route is local, and pay is competitive. Deliveries occur Monday night through Friday overnight. Generous pay and nenefits are offered after 90 days to include health insurance plan, dental, vision, Matching 401K (after a 1 year), Paid Vacation, holiday pay. We are looking to fill this position with a professional driver that has experience driving a straight/box truck and has a good driving/MVR record and reliable work history. Loading and unloading freight. The driver will be touching the freight. Requirements include the following Clean MVR, Background Check, and Drug Test are necessary. Must have DOT Physical and Medical DOT card. Reliable transportation to and from work. Ability to pass a driving test that shows you are able to operate a straight truck in a safe manner. Meet delivery deadlines on a daily basis. Ability to use a scanner to scan freight and the ability to follow procedures when completing paperwork. Prior experience driving a 28ft straight truck is preferred. (1 year) Prior experience working at night is preferred. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs. - pallet jacks and handcarts are provided. Follow all traffic and safety policies and procedures.
