Stores Worker - Receiving

Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using; e-mail, Word, Excel, and Maximo. (Required) 2. Ability to read and write basic English and perform. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. (Required) 3. Perform basic mathematical calculations. (Required) 4. Ability to drive stick shift and 2-ton vehicles. (Required) 5. Skill in using specialized equipment: forklift, pallet jack. (Required) 6. Ability to respond to changing priorities. (Required) 7. Ability to work various shifts when required. (Required) 8. Knowledge of inventory technique. (Preferred) 9. Ability to interact cooperatively with Facilities Management Department units as well as Purchasing, Warehouse and Stores staff, and vendors. (Required) 10. Ability to work effectively with interruptions. (Required) 11. Ability to maintain good attendance as prescribed by Department needs. (Required) 12. Ability to maintain accurate records. (Required) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations High School High school diploma or equivalent experience (Required) Must possess, upon hire, and maintain a valid CA noncommercial Class C License in accordance with the California (CA) Department of Motor Vehicles. (Required) Special Conditions for Employment Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation. Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
