Paid positions are available at all levels, including internships, offering valuable experience in retail management and operations. Duties Lead daily store operations, including sales management, inventory control, and cash handling to meet business goals. Supervise and motivate team members through effective training, employee orientation, and ongoing development initiatives. Manage staffing schedules, interview potential candidates, and participate in recruiting efforts to build a high-performing team. Oversee merchandising activities such as product placement, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and visual displays to maximize sales. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory tracking while ensuring accuracy in cashiering and bookkeeping. Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a welcoming store environment. Monitor operational tasks including budgeting, payroll processing, inventory management, and compliance with company policies. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles with strong leadership capabilities. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across various responsibilities such as merchandising, staffing, and operations. Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, and managing retail sales teams within the retail industry. Knowledge of retail math concepts including pricing strategies and sales analysis; previous assistant manager experience is preferred. Ability to work flexible hours across shifts including weekends and holidays; supervisory experience is advantageous.
