Responsibilities Stock shelves, displays, and storage areas accurately using RF scanners and other materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Receive shipments, unload trucks, and verify incoming inventory against shipping documents to ensure accuracy. Maintain organized inventory records through effective inventory management practices and control procedures. Assist in packaging products for shipment or display, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading merchandise safely following proper lifting practices. Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse spaces to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members across departments to support merchandising efforts, product placement, and retail store product knowledge initiatives. Skills Proficiency with RF scanners and experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control systems accurately. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions. Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising techniques, and retail sales practices is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices. Basic math skills for inventory counting, pricing adjustments, and transaction processing. Effective customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards team members and customers alike.
